Join us in the heart of Shrewsbury for the 6th Annual Yuletide Market & Light the Common — a magical celebration that brings our community together with holiday spirit, local shopping, live entertainment, and the breathtaking moment when the Town Common comes alive with lights!
This much-loved tradition, hosted by the Shrewsbury Town Center Association (STCA), has quickly become one of Shrewsbury’s favorite holiday traditions. Each year it grows bigger, brighter, and more joyful — and 2025 promises to be the best yet!

Event Highlights
Get ready for an evening full of festive fun, sparkling lights, and community cheer:
Yuletide Market – Discover dozens of local vendors offering holiday gifts, handmade crafts, art, jewelry, gourmet treats, and more. It’s the perfect way to shop small and find one-of-a-kind presents while supporting local businesses.
Live Entertainment & Performances – From choirs singing carols to lively bands and dance groups, enjoy a full lineup of performances that will keep spirits bright all night long.
Food Trucks & Seasonal Treats – Warm up with delicious bites from local food trucks, sip hot cocoa, and indulge in festive treats for the whole family.
Kids & Family Activities – Play carnival games, take holiday photos, and make memories with activities designed to delight children and parents alike.
Beer & Wine Garden – Enjoy a cozy tent serving beer and wine while you take in the festivities.
Lighting of the Common – The breathtaking finale: thousands of twinkling lights transforming Shrewsbury’s Town Common into a dazzling winter wonderland. A true community moment you won’t want to miss.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Space is limited, so we encourage early submission! Applications close at the end of September.
