Bringing Shrewsbury Together

The STCA Winter Festival featuring the Yuletide Market & Light the Common has grown into one of Shrewsbury's signature community traditions, bringing thousands of residents, families, businesses, and visitors together in the heart of Town Center.

Through lights, entertainment, local shopping, food, family experiences, and community partnerships, the Festival creates an evening centered on connection, celebration, and community pride.

Adirondacks on the Common

Creating Places to Gather and Connect

Adirondacks on the Common is an STCA placemaking initiative designed to create welcoming places for residents and visitors to gather, relax, and connect on the Shrewsbury Town Common.

Made possible through community and business support, the initiative represents STCA's continued investment in activating public spaces and creating simple, meaningful ways for people to experience the heart of Shrewsbury.

Community Hearts

Community Hearts is an STCA initiative that recognizes and celebrates local businesses while creating a simple, positive experience for residents and visitors throughout the community.

Through Community Hearts, STCA has recognized 50+ local businesses, helping shine a spotlight on the businesses and people behind them while encouraging the community to visit, connect, and discover businesses throughout Shrewsbury. Community Hearts is one of the ways STCA celebrates the businesses and people that contribute to a vibrant Shrewsbury community.

Placemaking & Community Projects

Investing in the Heart of Shrewsbury

STCA looks for opportunities to enhance public spaces, strengthen community connections, and support projects that contribute to the character and vitality of Shrewsbury Town Center.
