Each December, thousands gather in the heart of Shrewsbury for an unforgettable evening of winter lights, entertainment, shopping, food, and community celebration.
The STCA Winter Festival featuring the Yuletide Market & Light the Common has become one of Shrewsbury’s most anticipated annual traditions, bringing together residents, businesses, nonprofits, community partners, and visitors to celebrate the season and strengthen the Town Center.
Produced by the Shrewsbury Town Center Association, the Winter Festival reflects STCA’s commitment to creating meaningful community experiences, supporting local businesses, fostering community connections, and enhancing the vibrancy of the Town Center.

Parking
The Winter Festival takes place in the heart of Shrewsbury Town Center, where public and community parking is available throughout the surrounding area.
While there are no designated Festival parking lots or shuttle services, attendees have historically been able to find parking within the Town Center and surrounding area. We encourage guests to allow a little extra time when arriving, particularly around the lighting of the Common.
Parking information and any additional guidance will be updated here as the Festival approaches.
Prefer to leave the car at home? Uber and Lyft are also great options for getting to and from the Festival.
Accessibility
The STCA Winter Festival is designed to be a welcoming and accessible community event. All Festival event spaces are accessible, and accessible restrooms are available throughout the event.

Weather & Event Updates
The Winter Festival is an outdoor December event and is planned to take place in typical winter weather conditions. Guests are encouraged to dress warmly and appropriately for the forecast.
The Festival is expected to proceed as scheduled unless severe weather, a declared state of emergency, or other conditions make it unsafe to do so. STCA will evaluate conditions with the safety of attendees, vendors, performers, volunteers, and the community as our highest priority.
Any weather-related changes, delays, or cancellations will be communicated through STCA’s official social media channels.

Bring Your Business to the Winter Festival
The STCA Winter Festival brings thousands of residents and visitors into Shrewsbury Town Center for an afternoon and evening of shopping, dining, entertainment, and community celebration. Our vendors are an important part of that experience, helping us create a vibrant and diverse Festival for guests of all ages.
Vendor space for the 2026 Winter Festival is limited, and STCA is currently providing returning vendors with priority access to confirm their participation before additional spaces are offered.
Returning Vendors
Vendors who participated in the 2025 STCA Winter Festival will receive information directly from STCA with instructions and a deadline to confirm their participation for 2026.
Returning vendors should follow the instructions provided directly by STCA and do not need to join an Interest List.

We welcome interest from businesses and organizations that would like to participate in this year’s Winter Festival. While additional vendor availability will depend on returning-vendor participation and available space, prospective vendors are encouraged to join the appropriate Interest List below.
STCA thoughtfully curates the Festival lineup based on available space, vendor offerings, operational requirements, and the overall Festival experience. Submission of an Interest List does not guarantee acceptance or participation.
Yuletide Market Vendors
The Yuletide Market features local businesses, makers, artisans, nonprofits, community organizations, pre-packaged and specialty food vendors, and other unique vendors throughout the heart of the Festival.
Food & Beverage Vendors
Food trucks, prepared-food vendors, breweries, wineries, and other beverage vendors help create the food and beverage experience throughout the Winter Festival.
Join the Entertainment Lineup
Help Bring the Winter Festival to Life
Live entertainment is an important part of the STCA Winter Festival, bringing energy, variety, and community connection to the event. We welcome interest from musicians, bands, choirs, dance groups, performers, costumed characters, and organizations offering family-friendly entertainment or interactive experiences.
Entertainment opportunities and performance times are limited. STCA thoughtfully develops the lineup based on scheduling availability, audience and event fit, performance type, operational requirements, weather considerations, and the overall Festival experience.
Submitting the Entertainment Interest Form does not guarantee selection, a specific performance time or location, or compensation. STCA will contact selected participants with scheduling and participation details.
